He didn’t age all that well in the face. It seems the partying, drinking, etc took a toll on him for some time. He has been looking “fresher” in recent years though. And he’s certainly not a bad looking guy now. It’s really the pretension and narcissism that has made him less appealing. He is however a solid actor when given the right material. His brother though remains pure yum.

@Donston: that’s movie makeup for the role. Tommy Wiseau was (is?) a hard-looking man, and an ongoing thread in the movie is that no one can figure out his age. He claims to be the same age as Greg Sestoro, the character Dave Franco plays, but he’s (very likely 20-30 years older). Through the movie they talk about how unattractive he is, calling him a vampire, etc.
I didn’t know anything about “The Room” or Wiseau before this movie. I guess it’s an interesting story, but the movie didn’t do anything for me. I’d probably give it a C.

A majoritary of his movies are just awful..his taste in rolls in really bad..127 hours was probably the best of the lot..all those Seth Rogen films I could hardly sit through.Unfunny..this new film I’s so bad I walked out half hour in..

It’s actually getting solid reviews, and his performance is getting great reviews. However, his performers are very hit or miss. He’s borderline Nicholas Cage as in he doesn’t believe in subtlety and he’s always desperate to seem subversive. The Deuce is a pretty good show, though he’s probably the weakest thing about it.

In what world is a scene from a movie ‘leaked’. PS: taste in films vary, but this production of the making of the Room is very enjoyable. Once again an individual taste, if you’re seeing due to publicity as the must see film then maybe stick to the predictability of the Star War franchise, 1 trick pony story line.
