Fresh off blessing San Francisco with an unforgettable headline performance at the Outside Lands music festival, Janet Jackson has released her latest single, with a stunning video to match.
“Made For Now” sees Queen Janet teamed up with Daddy Yankee for a jam that’ll make you start shaking your hips from the getgo.
The gorgeous video was shot in Brooklyn, directed by Dave Meyers.

About time she.put out an upbeat song. Only downside its autotuned to death

Could use a little Auto-Tune at the very end. Shame because it’s a beautiful video.

The entire song is nothing but Auto tune

“Fresh AF” is an overstatement. I love Janet, but this sounds the same as every other failed single she’s put out over the last decade. And Daddy Yankee? He hasn’t been popular since she last was. J Belvin would have given her a similar sound and would have gotten the attention of the younger audience which is oddly still her target.

Bring back the songwriters and production.team ot Jimmy jam and teri Lewis….

Not bad! Could have done without learning who Daddy Yankee is tho.

I really enjoyed the song and the video. Loved the Afro-Caribbean influence in the music, clothing textures as well as colors and especially the dudes! Enjoyed it..and it’s fresh enough for me.

Great to see her finally dance near the end of the video. She looks great, her outfits are spot on and there is energy in the song. I guess the inevitable and upbiquitous hip hop addition isn’t as annoying as they usually are. The auto tune on Yankee Daddy makes it less offensive. Janet needs no duets though. She is all we need.
