Jesse Tyler Ferguson really is a family man. The Emmy-nominated Modern Family star wed longtime boyfriend attorney Justin Mikita in New York today before a crowd of their close friends which included actors Zachary Quinto, Jerry O’ Connell, Rebecca Romijn, Ferguson’s costars Eric Stonestreet, Julie Bowen and Ty Burrell, as well as fashion designed Isaac Mizrahi, his husband and Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi.
One of the guests gave a brief report to US Weekly on the rehearsal dinner July 19, saying, “There was a lot of laughter.”
Ferguson and Mikita have been dating for more than two years and announced their engagement last September. The two men are also co-founders of Tie The Knot, a site selling a stylish collection of unique bowties with profits going to organizations that fight for marriage equality.

It’s just a ten year difference and Mikita’s an attorney so probably not quite gold-digger status. I do worry about those of you who can’t conceive of finding love with someone not as attractive as yourselves. Beauty fades.

True, there is quite a disparity in their respective looks but who are we to see into the heart of another. It is shallow and short sighted to ass-sume that the better looking of the two can’t be in love with the less handsome one. I wish them both happiness.
