Workplace comedy ‘Loot’ returned for its long-awaited second season this month on AppleTV+, proving once again why this is one of the most charming ensembles on television.

And the cast’s just as fun to watch on screen as they are off, like in our new interview with stars Maya Rudolph, Joel Kim Booster, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Ron Funches, and Nat Faxon.

In a round-table discussion, each actor teases what’s in store for the rest of season two, sharing which character dynamics they were most excited to explore in the new episodes.

Then, we did a little digging through Booster’s Twitter history, and found a sweet old post about Rudolph—a full decade before they were co-stars—that gets the ‘SNL’ veteran all choked up.

And, finally, Rodriguez brings it all home, talking about about the significance of her character Sofia’s romantic arc this season, and why ‘Loot’ has such a strong appeal for LGBTQ+ audiences.
