    Nice.

    LOL!

Don’t have the quote, but Joel went a bit further. He said the Republican’s son was repressed and unhappy whereas the Democrat’s was happy and well-adjusted. Good on him to add the need to let people be free and open to be how they were born to be.

It was not a malicious joke that was directed at gays, or where gays
were the butt end of the joke. The Republicans were.

Zing! And well Michelle O looks lovely as always.

That was one of his good ones. Some of his jokes fell flat but I think it was more the audience and not him. I actually thought the President had the funniest bits of the night.

Michelle Obama was giving Greek Goddess Fabulousness in that off the shoulder Marchesa gown!!! WERK FLOTUS!!!

A poor joke with no point.

It was a little more nuanced:

“I also host a show called “The Soup,” which is on the E Network. (Cheers, applause.) Thank you. To Republicans in attendance, E is the channel that your deeply closeted gay son likes to watch. (Laughter.) Democrats, it’s the same channel that your happy, openly gay son likes to watch. (Laughter.) E is also home to the Kardashians, who, believe it or not, are Republicans. And I know that, because they’re always trying to screw black people. (Groans.) Yep. Now just the men. OK. (Laughter.)”

Really I should have said “pointed” not “nuanced” just lazy writing.
