John, how is it possible that you, of all people, left off the movie Get Out? That was the low-budget movie of the decade in my book, just after Moonlight.

Other than Lady Macbeth and Tom of Finland, which I read about on here, I haven’t seen much mention of any of these films. I agree with Bob about Get Out. I’d also add Lady Bird, The Big Sick, Okja>and The Square. Mudbone is great too, and Girls’ Trip has some of the funniest scenes of the year.

I don’t watch many movies, but all of these trailers looked amazing. I’d rather write. If I can be 10% as funny and amazing as John Waters and Mark Twain, two of my role models, and manage to publish 11 books, then I will be 220% as funny as either of them. I think that’s how the maths works. Goal accomplished!
