In 2005 Guy Ritchie filmed The Hire, a five-minute ad for BMW starring his then-wife and Clive Owen. This year he filmed Un Rendez Vous, starring Jude Law, for Dior Homme. The title credits call it a “film.” Yes, a film, where the actors are paid hundreds of thousands of dollars per second of screen time, rather than per minute.
These commercials films aren’t really about selling product. And they aren’t terribly effective at, say, boosting same-store sales. But they are about selling the lifestyle these brands purport to represent, and they do a mighty fine job of convincing me I still haven’t made it.

It’s Guy Ritchie’s right to destroy his own career.

I first read, “starring his then-wife Clive Owen”, and did a little double-take.

Great use of an awesome Muse song though.
