High school is rough, in or out of the closet. And for many of us that adolescent apex — prom — can leave us feeling more Carrie than Pretty In Pink.
Which is why the Trevor Project’s NextGen Prom is such a sweet fundraising idea, letting you rewrite history and get that prom experience you deserve. Hopefully spiked punch and all.
And we hear Kelly Osborne is looking for the perfect date.
“I’ve always admired the Trevor Project’s incredible work, and when I heard about the prom I jumped at the chance to support such a fabulous idea,” she says. “To think that so many LGBTQ teens have never been able to experience this iconic event in everyone else’s life, is heartbreaking. I’m absolutely excited to be part of this amazing evening that will, no doubt, be full of acceptance, kindness, laughter and love.”
One lucky donor will be selected at random to be Kelly’s special guest for the evening, and all contributors are furthering Trevor’s mission of Saving Young Lives. Can’t go wrong there.
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.

The event will be held under the stars on the rooftop of the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles on Saturday, May 31.
The prom will be hosted by amazeball YouTubers Jessica and Hunter, and include special performances by singer/songwriter Eli Lieb (Young Love) and RuPaul’s Drag Race favorite Shangela.

Say what you want about her, and the talents that she may lack, I could care less, but that body is SNATCHED!!!

Her first album was pretty great. And she showed that she has her Dad’s voice on “Let Me Out” (as a lifelong Ozzy and Sabbath fan, it gave me chills). Good on her!
