freudian slip?

Kellyanne Conway and Sean Hannity might want to stay off Twitter today

Fox News host Sean Hannity let out what appeared to be a Freudian slip during his Monday evening broadcast, introducing Kellyanne Conway as “Kellyanne Trump.”

The gaffe might have gone unnoticed had it not been for the fact that just minutes earlier, Hannity and his guest, former Republican Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, were spreading unfounded rumors that President Biden is “cognitively challenged.”

“I don’t even think he knows that today’s Monday,” Hannity said, using an unscripted moment from Biden’s Poland speech denouncing Russian President Vladimir Putin’s ongoing siege of Ukraine as evidence. “For God’s sake, this man cannot remain in power,” Biden said. The White House later clarified he was expressing “moral outrage” at Putin’s actions, not setting policy.

Add to the equation that Kellyanne’s last name may as well be Trump at this point given the number of times she’s shamelessly defended the former president, and the moment quickly started trending.
