Someone’s ploy for public sympathy has fallen apart.
An Oklahoma lawmaker alleged that gay activists had sent Sally Kern life threatening emails following publication of her anti-gay audio. Now that the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has started sifting through the letters, however, Kern’s setting the public record straight:
A fellow lawmaker contacted the OSBI on Monday and suggested that agents go through the e-mails, some of which might be threatening, OSBI spokeswoman Jessica Brown said.
Kern said Monday that she had not received death threats. On Tuesday, she said, “It’s changed,” but she did not elaborate.
Brown said Tuesday, “There are a lot of e-mails to the representative that say, ‘You ought to die,’ rather than, ‘I am going to kill you.’
“I wouldn’t characterize them as death threats,” she said.
Well, we certainly hope no naughty homos have been sending threatening letters. Kern should resign, yes, but death’s a bit much. Also, it gives her fuel, and nobody wants that!
On another note, are we the only ones freaked out by Kern’s glassy, Stepford stare?
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.

That isn’t a Stepford stare. It is the vacant stare of the true believer.

On this whole situation I must add this tidbit when my partner and I met with our attorney last year to write wills and plan for our future together she strongly advised never go to Okalahoma as none of our rights would be enforced in that state now I think I know why.

Jesse Kern is, indeed, a pianist. Just another piece of the puzzle…

Vocalists for the ceremony were Angel Duncan, Dennis Raley and Angela Sutton, with Jesse Kern accompanying on the piano.

Radical Christianist cleric Steve Kern uses his pro-bigot Olivet Baptist Church hate-site to weigh in on his sex-partner’s trials and tribulations:
THE PASTOR’S HEART…
Wow! What a service we had Sunday. My wife, Sally, was attacked this weekend by hundreds of pro-homosexual e-mails from all over the world in response to quotes that were published on U-Tube, a pro-gay website. The e-mails after 3 days have risen to 3000. Much of the messages are filled with filth and hate. One such e-mail said, “You should have been aborted before you were born.” I told the people about the situation and then preached a message on having God dwell amongst by following Paul’s instructions in Philippians 4:1-9. During our prayer time in the middle of the service, Jack and Phyllis Poe (chaplains to our police) came up to the choir and hugged Sally and prayed for her. Sally is their state representative. At the end of the services SterlingArntzen had Sally and I sit on the front pew so the people could surround us and pray. Gary Pound, our deacon chairman lead the prayer. It was a beautiful time.
After the service, Sally and I went to lunch with the Poes. They told us an amazing thing. They knew nothing about what was happening to Sally when they came to worship at Olivet. They just felt a strong urging of the Lord to attend. After hearing what was happening to Sally they knew and we knew the Lord had sent them to lift Sally up. It was a confirmation to us all that God is doing something and is working in our behalf. It was obviously one of those “God things” we refer to at times. The church praying for us was a tremendous up lifting experience as well.

Oh man, it’s ridiculous.
I work with Victory Fund who put together the “I’m listening” video on YouTube, and it’s just crazy to see how much it has taken off! We started getting so many hits on our website because of it, we wanted to make sure people did more than just watch the video.
Instead, you can now sign this open letter to Kern herself: http://www.victoryfund.org/listening.
Of course, there are no death threats or anything scary in our letter. But in plain words, we wanted to tell Kern exactly what we think about her speech. Hope you can sign it, too http://www.victoryfund.org/listening

Just sent a prayer request at the church’s website for dear Sally and her husband.

Of course, there’s no way of knowing whether THIS Jesse Jacob Kern, whose 1989 bust for felony oral sodomy was dismissed by the state, also plays the piano. Or is related to Sally Kern. Or anything like that.

I wrote one of those 7,000 emails to Representative Kern. Here’s what it said:
Dear State Representative Kern,
May I point you to I John 4:20-21:
20 If anyone says, “I love God,” yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love
God, whom he has not seen.
21 And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother.
Just who might be your brother? I suggest you go and read Luke 10:25-37 with fresh eyes.
Given the texts above, you have a lot of thinking and praying to do about the evil, vile, and hateful lies you spoke.
Sincerely,
Rebecca Putman

Kern is a hero. Our society can’t survive without the family – which queers can’t produce by definition. While I am a compassionate person and wish no one harm, I can’t help but think that the islamists’ goals for the world in one respect are quite just and that the islamists have a high probability of ultimate success because of their society’s respect for the family and our own destruction of the family.

Because there’s such a shortage of people these days! Oh, yes! (rolls eyes)
Sylvester, you’re a true nutbag.
