OH MY GAY STARS!

Kevin Zegers Goes Queer While Kellan Lutz Is A Straight Dude In A Homo World

Two up-and-coming actors have signed on for a pair of gay-themed movies, but their roles couldn’t be further apart.

Kevin Zegers (Transamerica, Gossip Girl) has landed a leading role in the film adaptation of The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, based on the first book in Cassandra Clare’s best-selling fantasy series. Zegers, 27, will play Alec, a gay man in love with Jace (Jamie Campbell Bower) and in major hate with female protagonist Clary, the object of Jace’s affection. City of Bones is slotted to hit theaters August 2013.

Meanwhile Kellan Lutz of Twilight fame is not playing gay—he’s playing a straight man in a world where 90% of the population is homosexual. (Didn’t we see that in an old episode of Ellen?)

According to The Hollywood Reporter , Lutz is being paired with Camilla Belle as a closeted straight couple in a world where breeders are the ones getting bullied. The film, Love Is All You Need?, will feature a number of storyline and is being directed by Kim Rocco Shield, who originally produced it as a short.
