After killing its Personals pages, Craigslist is inundated with kinky “household services” ads

This just in: the Craigslist page for Leeds, England has become inundated with ads posted by men offering to get naked and clean people’s houses for cash.

Dozens of ads have popped up in the “household services” section in recent weeks.

“Slim fit straight male doing cleaning and household chores in Leeds and York areas,” one reads, “No children or single males please.”

Another guy from the Roundhay area, who describes himself as a “hairy, rugby guy”,  is advertising himself as a “naked gay odd job man for men.”

“I’m looking for some extra cash,” he writes. “I’ll be naked.”

In March, Craigslist announced it was killing its Personals section after the Senate passed the Allow States and Victims to Fight Online Sex Trafficking Act (FOSTA), which essentially makes it easier for victims of sex trafficking, as well as prosecutors, to sue websites that allow sex traffickers to post ads on their platforms.

Of course, people are very clever and will never fail to find create ways to get their rocks off.

It remains to be seen just how Craigslist will manage this latest workaround.
