Jonny McGovern’s Hey Qween! With Laganja Estranja
C’mon Laganja Estranja! C’mon Hey Qween! Let’s get sickening!
Laganja Estranja joins Jonny McGovern on the latest episode of “Hey Qween!” and spills all the tee about her time on “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” and her life before and after. Okurrr!
We don’t want to give too much away, so watch the video above. Here are a few of our favorite moments…
Regarding the way she was edited:
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
What I will say about the “raw deal,” is that the editors have a job and I think that the editors chose my most exciting, dramatic and entertaining moments. And that’s their job. So are there other things that I would have like you to see? Of course, but I’m not gonna be one of those girls who says, ‘Oh, the editing, the editing.’ I said all of those things. That is part of who I am, so I still own it to this day.”
Regarding the character she created for the show:
And of course there was a character, but who wasn’t on that show? I mean when the cameras went off, every bitch was different, c’mon!”
Wow it was touching to see Laganja get emotional talking about Alyssa helping her out and being there for her. I like Laganja, she seems very smart and very well spoken, I wish we got to see the real Laganja on the show. Early on Drag Race I really assumed she, Gia and Milk would make it towards the end and I was shocked when they didn’t yet Darienne and Courtney did (!!!). I’m glad that Gia and Laganja are really close friends now.
