There always seem to be plenty of paparazzi photos circulating that show one guy or another on Lance Bass’ arm. Maybe they’re just “friends”? Perhaps. But after a couple semi-high-profile romances, Bass says he’s actually pretty terrible at meeting guys. AREN’T WE ALL.
“I’m never really good with matching myself, but I’m dead-on with matching my friends,” the 29-year-old tells E!’s Marc Malkin. “I’m always trying to play matchmaker.” Like he did with Dancing With the Stars‘ Cheryl Burke, who’s now holding hands with this stud.

I love Lance. I know some people don’t, but I think he is pretty cool. My friends all laughed at me because I bought his book and only watched DWTS because he was on. LOL
Not interested in dating him though even if we are the same age because no way in hell am I moving to bigoted California.

@David – If you are looking for an intellectually stimulating read than don’t. If you are looking for a quick enjoyable read I would recommend it. I bought my copy at the Harvard Coop, so I made sure to add a few more “weighty” books to my purchase. hahaha

Sebbe : Did Bass at least go into his experiences with the space travel program in the book? (A lot of people blow him off as a silly lightweight, but there’s actually some juice to the man).

@JJJJ – Yes he did, it is not the main focus of the book, but he covered quite a bit of it. The whole book is only 200 pages, but like I said, its an enjoyable quick read. I found it insightful for what it was and like you said “there is actually some juice to the man”. I know he has gotten some criticism from the lgbt community, but I give him slack for growing and learning about who he is. Some of us his age where out at a very young age, some of us weren’t, so it is a different experience for everyone. He also discusses some of his romantic/sexual stuff, but its nothing to hot or detailed unfortunately.

Especially when you are reading so much for university, its nice to read something a little more um, enjoyable. It reminds you about the good things about reading when you are not forced. I always found, taking a little break and reading something like that, made it easier to go back and read what you are forced to read whether you find it enjoyable or not.

I watched DWTS and thought he was great except for the I kissed a girl and I like it routine. it was like he channeled Vanilla Ice. I really don’t know much about the man personally but I do think he should ask for a refund on that hair cut.

I saw him at HERE in west hollywood last thursday (very cute fyi those eyes!!!!!) Everyone was checking him out I’m sure he does okay but most people probably look and don’t approach. In LA we see famous people constantly so it becomes the thing to ignore them and act like you don’t care weird.

Frankly I think people need to cut the guy some slack, he has not had the best of luck with BF’s(they cheat on him or whatever)the poor guy needs all the support he can get, and btw you’re right he does need a refund forthat haircut, c’mon Lance, what self-respecting gay guy is going to LET someone do THAT to his hair.
Give the guy a break as someone stated earlier, a lot of guys his age were out early and now they are having to learn to live & grow as a person since coming out at an early age. It cannot be easy, especially when you are in the public eye.

Lance is 29. He is old enough to know what haircut works and which one doesn’t. He is also old enough to know that most people that date him are interested in him because of his past celebrity. If he were a kid I would cut him some slack, but he isn’t a kid. He’s an adult.

I think Lance is very sexy. I would date him in a heart beat. There is this hunky guy that comes to the store that looks so much like Lance. Lol, we stare at each other, but he has a girlfriend, although I think he’s kinda bi. If I had a chance to date Lance, I wouldn’t do what most gay guys do and rush into a relationship right away, and, I wouldn’t want him to buy me everything. It would have to be equal sharing, or the deal’s off. I was actually thinking of doing a video where I would persue a chance to date Lance. He is so sexy, and so yummy. I still can’t believe that he is unlucky in love. He’s very gorgeous.
