Fox News’ efforts to cover the “far left” groups gathering in Denver were met with a bit of creative criticism, like a crowd chanting “Fuck Fox News.” The poor journalist is simply left theorizing, “I guess they don’t believe in freedom of speech.” On the contrary…

Saw this yesterday. It’s brilliant. Fox News was really quite naive to think liberals would want to talk to the biggest, most shameless, Republican mouthpiece there is.

I hate Fox too, but “Recreate ’68?” Is that what radicalism means these days? It’s a conservative slogan if ever there was one.

Yeah “Fuck Fox News” Real bright – brilliant way to get taken seriously. Bunch of fucking morons mouthing off makes the rest of us that are still connected to reality seem like a bunch of loons.
Extremism on either end of the spectrum is not only self-defeating, it’s just plain fucking stupid!

I gotta say, Joeb, I like the wholesale rejection of Fox’s notions of legitimacy. As if Fox is going to take them seriously anyway? Wading through the crowd and demanding to know if they support free speech? A professional journalist play-acting like he’s just been through a violent skirmish that should earn him a Purple Heart and a Peabody? What do we have to offer them but our refusal?

“Extremism on either end of the spectrum is not only self-defeating, it’s just plain fucking stupid!”
That includes extreme ignorance, Joeb1212. You and Fox News need to learn a little about political philosophy before you label people extremists or “far left.” Maoists are on the far left. I didn’t hear about any of them being part of the crowd.
When Fox starts off by labeling protesters “far left”, it’s asking for a hostile reaction.

ALL of Denver should shout out the next 3 days
“F*CK FOX NEWS”, and screw up all their coverage of the DNC convention
mark
and a week later all of Twin Cities should yell F*CK FOX NEWS too

LoL?

There’s a subtle difference between “free speach” and “compelling someone to speak.” The 1st Amendment guarantees the first, the 5th Amendment guards against the latter.

I don’t know. It seems like a perfect match.

To me, it is a sign of a complete lack of self-respect and any intelligence to start screaming curse words. Morons.
