Willam Belli, member of the seductive three-girl band DWV, has released his newest music video, entitled ‘Lemme Take a Hole Pic’. We got the inside scoop in an email interview with him about what his fans and followers can expect from this track (all questions were asked prior to the release of the song and video). We were also able to find out who is favorite queens are in RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 6! We definitely got the ‘hole’ “Willam treatment” in this interview. D: What’s the name of the song?
How about we take this to the next level?

W: Lemme Take a Hole Pic
D: What’s the song about?
W: The song is a skewering about the guys who are constantly on their phones treating hook-up apps like never ending games of solitaire.
D: Is it an original song or a parody?
W: The song is a parody of Lemme Take a Selfie.
D: Can you tell us a little bit about Detox and Vicky Vox’s parts in the song: any interesting facts or tidbits about what they bring to it?
W: They bring nothing to this song- literally 🙂
D: Who are the lyrics written by?
W: The lyrics are written by me.
D: How would you describe the song and its style to people?
W: I’m a comedian. I use music a lot to make people laugh. I also like to make people fart but have yet to find a good way to do so.
D: What inspired you to make this song?
W: My best friend was going through their phone and I saw so many hole pics (cause he saves every pic he’s sent like a porn hoarder) and I was like “all those people sent their holes?” and he replied affirmatively. I was shocked. Like all spread like a pre-cooked lunchmeat. I mean why not send a colonoscopy scan. Lots of Andrew Christian underwear, too. They make anyone’s best part look good it seems.
D: Who’s your favorite queen on this season of RuPaul’s Drag Race (assuming you watch it of course)?
W: I like the ABC. (ABC = Adore, Bianca, Courtney)
D: What are your immediate music career goals (1-3 years?)
W: In the next three years, I hope to listen to music and download some shit. Additionally I plan to hum on some dudes’ nuts.
D: What upcoming television appearances can we expect to see you in?
W: I just wrapped up the MTV’s Real World S#!t Show and an AOL gig as a whorespondent and am working on a new YouTube show. Very excited.
D: Do you have any upcoming performances you’d like to let people know about?
W: All my appearances are on my website at www.willambelli.com. Very excited for the upcoming Euro tour with DWV dates and a solo gig in Berlin (at Hamburger Mary’s Berlin).

D: Who handles your daily business activities: booking, promotions, ect.?
W: I have a team of 3 managers (an acting manager, a reality manager and a touring manager). I’m currently trying to get enough jobs to finance the building of new homes for each- one made of straw, another of sticks and a final one medium density fiber board. (Bricks are for streetwalker purses). But I do a lot on my own. My YouTubes are all mine and I make my own deals, too. I like to reach out to brands i love and work with them- like the LA Animal Shelter and designers like Good Kids, Beloved and Scooter Laforge. OCC Makeup especially. I just wanted to be friends with them and now I’m on the displays at Sephora stores nation-wide. It’s really neat. Most boys dream of being on a baseball card. Most little drag queens dream of being a model. My bucket list got a whole lot shorter this past year.

This is the worst interview I’ve seen in a very long time. I’m guessing you just worked from a list that you use for everyone without really checking – stuff like asking what Vicky and Detox brought to it. If you’d even watched it you’d know the answer to that. I don’t want to be overly critical – I’m sure you have an awful lot to cover and you’re over worked, but if you can’t devote enough time to do at least a half-decent interview with WILLAM I don’t know what you can do.
