LGBT Activists Start Dildo-Mailing Campaign To Irritate Vladimir Putin

995148_10201635854086912_339157964_n-1Not sure what to do with all those extra dildos now that they’re extinct? You can’t just throw away a rare artifact, so why not drop it in the mail and send it to your old pal Vladimir Putin?

A Facebook group aptly called “Send A Dildo To Vladimir Putin” is ten steps ahead of you, encouraging members to combat Russia’s anti-gay legislation and brutal treatment of the LGBT community by telling the Commander In Chief exactly where he can stick those laws—up his butt. Right before the dildo you’re sending, of course.

Once you’ve packed your dildo up nice and tight (not loose, please), go ahead and drop it in the mail:

Vladimir Putin
23, Ilyinka Street
Moscow, 103132, Russia

The dildo campaign is the latest in a movement to boycott Russian products in light of the recently-passed “homosexual propaganda” law. Activists have also called for a boycott of the 2014 Olympic Games taking place in Sochi, Russia, which has sparked mixed feelings among some notable LGBT athletes.

None of it really matters, though, because the dildo you’re about to send Vladimir Putin will definitely fix everything.

    I’m not understanding why his picture is photoshopped.

    . . . because actions of such maturity always make us look good in the end, right? Someone gets a dildo in the mail and they’ll suddenly have an epiphany that we’re their best friends, is that it?
    Keep telling yourselves that, guys.

    More effective than the Stoli boycott Dan Savage engineered for extortion money…

    What is needed is a dildo that is a Putin look alike. Oh! what bliss with Putin where the sun don’t shine. I hope he will flex his ears on the way in. LOL!

    @BJ McFrisky: mail in campaigns of any kind – the ones that come to my mind are when fans of a cancelled TV show do a mail in to a network are not effective because of what is mailed in but rather the volume. Sure – mailing Putin a few dildos will show how a few are immature – but what if he gets a million? It would then be a pretty effective mass outcry of outrage. When the TV show JERICHO was cancelled fans mailed in 20 tons of nuts to CBS and they brought it back so – – –

    @BJ McFrisky: so how about coming up with something better man? Its easy to sit there on your couch complaining about activists when you sit around and do nothing. MAN UP!

    How does Trans* phobia make ANYTHING BETTER? This is a waste of time, resources and energy! People are being tortured to death, and there’s a campaign to reinforce sex negativity, homophobia, sexism, heterosexism and Trans*phobia? Pack of spoiled, white, cis boi losers!

  • 1EqualityUSA

    Rogi, This was irony. Putin is this super macho, homophobic ultra-male and to see him painted up, in a way the world never sees him, is ironic humor.

    Maybe we shouldn’t give the bigot more motivation to hurt his LGBT citizens. I think this is a really bad idea. I agree with protesting and boycotting Russian made products, but this feels like an invitation for Putin to clamp down harder.

    @Caine:
    Um, your analogy is appreciated, but the Olympics aren’t a cancelled TV show. We’re talking international relations, not the Real Housewives of Blah-Blah.
    @jcroozin:
    Because I don’t relate to the victim mentality, I don’t need to jump up and down and scream what a victim I am. And that, in my opinion, makes me much more of a man than the hysterical “activists” ever will be.

    Alaska_Dude, the rule of law is dead in Russia because it is a totalitarian regime. Its courts are corrupt to the core. Its legislative and executive branches line their pockets with gold and cash. Russia is coming undone once again. There is no reason to preserve it.

    Is Russia heading back to Stalin era or Nazi Germany under Hitler — WWII broke out shortly after the 1936 Olympics in Berlin — Under Hitler. He killed Gays, Jews, Gypsies and other ethnic peoples is “PUTIN” heading that way too!
    BOYCOTT OLYMPICS __ BOYCOTT RUSSIA

  • Britton

    be careful with that. there is a law about mailing unclean items… this joke could result in jailtime… especially if a lot of people actually do it.

  • 1EqualityUSA

    Maybe fashion one in the likeness of putin.

  • ChickenLady

    He’s not getting my #dildos
