Lindsay Lohan Worried About Employment, Backing Romney

Lindsay Lohan is not really known for her politics – though at this point she’s not really known for her acting either – but the professional Troubled Starlet has thrown in her two cents on the race for the White House.

“I just think employment is really important right now,” Lohan told E! News when asked who she was supporting. “So, as of now, Mitt Romney. As of now.”

And there you have it. Lindsay Lohan thinks that Mitt Romney will stimulate job creation and since quality Lifetime movies are increasingly hard to come by these days, maybe she has a legitimate concern.

The day people start caring about what celebrities, like Lohan, believe in regards to politics is the day this country has turned to shit…oh wait.

I applaud the fact that she’s still able to string a somewhat cogent sentence together. Bravo!

So let me get this straight. The economy crashed under Bush, and after 10 years of GOP control of the Congress which had just ended and the country starts losing 800,000 jobs a month.

Obama takes over and for 36 straight months the economy has improved and we are gaining 100,000 jobs a month and yet Romney is supposedly better for jobs even though he advocates the same policies Bush did?

Sounds like she’s hoping to get a job as a FOX anchor…could explain why she keeps dying her hair blond.

I read that she’s not even registered to vote.

    A list of Rommey supporters.

Ted Nugent, Jeff Foxworthy, Hulk Hogan, Vince McMahon, Donald Trump, Trace Adkin, Kid Rock, Scott Baio and now LL. Diversity at it’s best. Really that is the level of your support? Maybe they can get an endorsement from Honey Boo-boo next.

Good for her! who is she? ;-)

  • Steve007

I was waiting to see who she endorsed. Now, I’m officially decided!

Cocaine is one hell of a drug. It fucks up your mind beyond repair. I suppose she has an excuse for not remembering it was Bush who caused the mess- she was out of her freaking mind for most of his presidency. Good for her for at least knowing the name of one of the candidates.

Also amusing is that she isn’t even registered to vote. Poor thing- those hallucinations can be a real bitch.

Ooooo …. Poor Baby. She’s been lobotomized, next thing she’ll think she really is the reincarnation of Liz Taylor. I don’t think when the politicians talk about the unemployment rate in the country they’re thinking actors in hollywood. But at the rate she’s going overseas sweatshops are not too far off in the future.

Stop hijacking the gay community to promote yourself Lindsay, when you’re not willing to stand with us and our equal rights. You promoted 3 projects by saying how you wanted gays to see them because it speaks to us (our MONEY, right?) and now you’re endorsing a candidate who wants to strip gays of every single government granted right imaginable. We won’t forget who stands with us and who stands against us during this time in our movement. You’ve shown your colors.

@Dawson: isn’t the weird stephen baldwin in that list as well?

@USC Trojans Fan: I think I just heard the world’s tiniest violin playing…
