Weeks after coming out and with countless media reports of the two being an item, Tom Daley Instagrammed his first couple’s photo with Dustin Lance Black.
The Olympic diver and Oscar-winning screenwriter get cozy as they enjoy dinner in England following Daley’s first episode of the UK-version of the diving reality show Splash. Of the photo, Daley wrote: “#splash celebrations Beef Wellington…yes please!!!”
Being a good boyfriend, Black was spotted in the front row of the audience during the debut episode of Splash on Saturday night according to The Mirror. Black also posted a congratulatory note to his paramour on Facebook:

What I find interesting is the way The Mirror is reporting this, relatively non- judgemental considering how downright homophobic this red top tabloid has been in the past. Mind you it is the online version, the print one could still be scraping around in the gutter.

Secondly, Tom is the same age at me and I remember watching Milk in 2008 and seeing Dustin Lance Black accept the Oscar in 2009 and I was like 14-15 at that time. \@Bee Gaga: Not everyone under 20 wants to date people under 20. I met my partner when I was 20. He was 17 years older than me. I was then completely not interested in the guys around my age whom I thought was often immature (as you have unwittingly proven), unintelligent, had no accomplishment to speak off or life experience to share. Their world is so small(through no fault of theirs of course). Some people just gravitate towards older people.
Just because TD is the same age as you does not mean both of you have the same needs or same level of maturity. Although a very young man, TD is extremely successful and has many accomplishment outside of diving as well. He comes across as someone who is very focused,hardworking and driven. He has been ‘working’ since 7 years old and I doubt a typical guy around his age is going to interest him. I was not even half of what he is now at 20 years old,or even now come to think of it, and already I could not imagine being in a fulfilling relationship with someone around the same age. All of us are wired differently and our needs are vastly different.
