We know it’s not nice to kick people when they’re down, but supporters of Mitt Romney have been such drama queens about their loss, they’re kind of asking for it. From Karl Rove’s meldtown to Victoria Jackson’s “I can’t stop crying!” tweet, these folks are acting like someone just strapped their dog to the roof of a car.
The brilliant tumblr White People Mourning Romney has some hilarious images of and tweets and Facebook posts from right-wingers who obviously have trouble keeping things in perspective. Or maybe that just comes with being a reactionary?

Aww bless, their miserable faces are the sign of a better world. Every crying republican face is a testament to America, its good, moral people and constitution that won the day.
Well done the majority of America, these people lost, and their lack of values and hate has finished them. We are winning, everywhere. We will bring education and morality back to the world that these people have sapped away for decades.

It almost never happens that I feel so good at looking at so many sad faces, but I don’t feel good – I feel great! Here’s hoping that future election results will provide many more such pleasant photo ops taken from distraught and disappointed GOP gatherings.
While we enjoy our victory – and their loss – we must remain vigilant. I remember pundits predicting the demise of the GOP in 2008 with the McCain/Palin loss, only to have them come roaring back in 2010.
We’re due some celebration, but the stake has not been plunged into the evil heart of the GOP yet.

It baffles me that these people are literally crying over Romney’s loss. I could see Obama supporters crying over his loss, because a lot of our rights were actually on the line, but what are these folks afraid of? Not being quite as fucking rich as before? Not being superior to queers and ethnic minorities?

Obviously you love dishing it out, but when you’re on the receiving end of such nastiness, suddenly it’s immoral “bullying,” and is criminal and intolerable and demands PSAs. If they were true Americans (and actually believed in some of the principles that they claim are now lost–which are not), they would not piss and moan about the “death of America,” and accept defeat. They are funny because they are morons.. well at least the Facebook and Twitter responses (I did feel bad for the old woman dressed up as Uncle Sam.)

Election night yahoo quickly had 60 pictures up; 40 from Obama’s acceptance, and 20 from Romney’s concession, and not even in the wide shots could I spot one black face. If they don’t know why they lost, it’s deliberate stupidity now.
