Lynne Cheney sounds pretty pro-gay marriage to us. “I would wish my daughter to have happiness and freedom to make her own choices. The Vice President said in the debate with Joe Lieberman ever so long ago in 2000 that freedom in this country ought to mean freedom for everyone.” she said when asked if she wished her daughter could marry. We expect Lynne will be a more vocal advocate for equality when her husband is out of office. Good for her. Watch the exchange here.
Lynne Cheney okay with Gay Marriage?

File that under “Don’t let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya!”

Its 8 o’clock in the morning here in beautiful sunny SoCal, I’m just having my coffee, and the first thing I read is something positive and upbeat about Lynne Cheney.
Have you no decency?

Not a scrap, it seems.
James
We might have to accept the fact that the Cheneys when it comes to gay marriage are on board. Now that might make some of you sick but no need to deny it.

F*CK Lynne Cheney she is on ANOTHER horse-sh*t children’s book selling junket, if I never had to see this card carryin’ c*nt for the rest of my life it’d be TOO SOON.
Doug
The woman is the anti-Christ. It was so obvious that she was ready for that question and had the talking point already memorized. And, because of her history of baring her fangs if any interviewer dared to question her about Mary, Harry didn’t even bother with a follow-up question like “Then why is the Republican Party so hell-bent on portraying LGBT persons as evil and second-class and worthless?” (or some such follow-up) I’ll be so glad when she gets back to writing lesbifiction set in the Old West.
John
Thanks for clarifying, Mark and Doug.

I don’t hold Lynne Cheney responsible for how much the Republican party sucks. I recall an episode of the Daily Show where John Stewart was pretty rude to her. I can understand someone being rude to Dick, but Lynne? She may be a little bit evil by association, but she isn’t running the country into the ground and doesn’t deserve the blame. I actually sent her a note after the Daily Show appearance to encourage her to help move the Republican party (and the country in general) toward accepting homosexuality simply as part of the human condition. Her own experience with her daughter is all the evidence she needs. Perhaps when Dick is out of office we’ll see something of this. They would be the perfect people to help the Republicans stop hating on the gays so much.

Now this flabby old cunt speaks out? Tell her to put her labia back under wraps, no one wants to hear her Queefing now about marriage rights.
Timothy
I’m going to go out on a limb and predict that once Cheney is no longer in office, both Dick and Lynne will be advocates for gay equality.
Of course, some readers here will be terribly disappointed at that. They’d much rather hate the Cheneys than have them as advocates for our cause – even if it is after their administration.

Lynne haul your saggy GASH to Dubai with the BILLIONs you two a$$wipes ripped off from Iraq and Katrina through your HALLIBURTON no bid contracts

The Cheneys by dint of their cooperation with the phobic constapo and talibangelical elements have done so much harm to queers during the past years that what they do in the future means only a little more than Larry Craig coming out would. In fact, it’s kind of embarrassing for everyone concerned.
What I would like to see the Cheneys do after the VP leaves politics is to one day go hunting with the Cheneys….
John
Its also important to keep clearly in mind that her daughter — the lesbian one– has been on salary with the Republican party, as I recall to the tune of $100,000 annually.
This family is beyond public rehabilitation in my opinion…they’ve hurt too many already. They, and I mean to include the self-loathing, hypocritical, on the payroll lesbian daughter, should withdraw from public life along with Larry Craig. They can atone privately and make anonymous donations to PFLAG, if it makes them feel better.
There, I’ve said it.
Phoenix (The Angry Millitant Nelly, not the Pale one)
Mary Cheney is an Uncle Tom queer. She, her parents, and her domestic partner can fry in hell…or more likely in the Pink Triangled Auschwitz the X-tian Taliban has planned for all queers.

Awesome, just shows how we can’t be held hostage to one political party because in the end it will get us nothing more than alienation and no results.

Well, she did write “Sisters,” a book of hot lesbian erotica, when she was about Mary’s age.
So there’s that.

Yes, supporting people who either help demonize gays and lesbains for political purposes or just plain hate gays and lesbians, respectively, is a great way to advance civil rights. You stinking, insane liar.
When Democrats finally pass ENDA, hate crimes legislation and achieve marriage equality we should make sure those hard won rights won’t extend to Log Uncle Tom Cabin self haters. I mean, since they think there’s lots more important issues than those they won’t be missing them too much anyway.

Lynne Cheney has done her best to destroy the arts and literature of this country. Her “history” books are mere racist apologia.
And as for that daughter of hers, she is going to inherit untold wealth from her dreadful parents, and rich people don’t need civil rights, they have money.
