Madonna: It Was The Gays Who ‘Told Me It Was Good And Okay To Be Different’

Aside from revealing that her home (which one?) is a hot bed of locusts, Madonna tells Ellen DeGeneres she is “incredibly disturbed and saddened” by reports of gay teens killing themselves over anti-gay bullying. “I wouldn’t have a career if it weren’t for the gay community,” she says in explaining why the issue is so important to her. So this is what it feels like for a girl, in this world.

@Kev C: yeah, man, how self-centered of her, speaking about herself during an interview in which ellen asks her about her childhood.

@josh: Oh yeah, unlike any of the other It Gets Better Videos, Madonna of course chooses to talk about how SHE was bullied. God so self centered!

@josh: Madonna had an urgent message about bullying, but what the message is is lost to ME. Something about having people in their lives, or a pet, or a box of chocolates. I dunno.

Madonna relates to the bullied because she herself was bullied, You can connect with those you’re trying to reach unless you show empathy and understanding and that’s what Madonna did. That’s why she is amazing. Madonna is and always will be the Queen.

I’ve also been bullied too … by Madonna fans. Hey Madge, your fans would contantly call me a fag. Sometimes they’d be playing your songs and calling me a fag. True.

Of course she wouldn’t have a career if it weren’t for the gay community. She was clever enough to know what buttons to push to manipulate us into forking out our money. Her shtick was obvious: sing in a little girl voice about virginity and other sexualized notions.

As for what she’s done for the gay community, fuck all. She did the complete opposite of what an ambassador for gay rights should do. She promoted the notion that female bisexuality is cool but male bisexuality isn’t. It’s a script straight out of the porn industry’s manifesto as written by sleazy straight guys who think gay guys are disgusting.

Go away, Madonna, back to your locust-riddled houses. Hope they eat you.

When has she ever promoted male bisexuality as anything other than acceptable? Madonna has always been a promotor of any form of sexual freedom regardless the preference.

Jason, you have the same bizarro tirade about “sleazy straight guys” every time there is a Madonna article on here. It was strange the first time. 100 times later it’s bordering on psycho.
