Madonna To Present Anderson Cooper With His GLAAD Media Award

madonna-andersonAt the 24th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in New York, Anderson Cooper will receive the Vito Russo Award from a very special guest –Madonna.

Madge and Coop are longtime friends and are both known for their support of LGBT people around the globe.

“Madonna has been a passionate spokesperson and long time supporter of gay rights. She has embraced  LGBT people around the world on many occasions,” said GLAAD President Herndon Graddick. “From speaking out against bullying to raising support for marriage equality, Madonna has always been one of our community’s strongest allies. We are honored to have her stand with GLAAD and Anderson Cooper.”

    AC is just not a very good news anchor. Lte’s be honest – he’s where he is because he is pretty. His reporting is very slanted sometimes, in a way that tries to pass off opinion as news, which is not professionsal.
