Brazilian police have bit of a mystery on their hands, but in motive only.

Paraguayan national Alberto Gonçales Acosta allegedly beat 25-year old trans Brazilian Antonio Da Silva Portinho to death at a local bar. Unlike some accused killers, Acosta admits to the murder, but his reasoning remains unclear.

Via Gay News Watch:

Acosta told police that Portinho made a pass at him, which was his reason for beating her. But another witness, who was with the victim, told police the aggression happened for no reason and after the accused chased the victim.

Regardless of the events, Acosta has been arrested, as have two of his companions: an adult and a 17-year old.
