      Good for him, but there goes his TV show. He was pretty hot before he lost the weight. Big guys can be sexy too.

      I remember him, when the show started, i thought he was a cute and husky. His show required him to binge eat or overeat and if you saw the show you know it was all fatty foods. I think his weight loss hollowed out his face a bit, but as long as he’s living a healthy lifestyle, good for him.

      There needs to be a better “before” photo. He didn’t look he was that heavy to begin with–though in the picture he’s leaning forward which tends to be a more forgiving angle.

      @barkomatic: BEFORE/AFTER in a British tabloid:

      Only 40? He looks more like 50 (in Express).

      Adam Richman’s personality is what makes him sexy – regardless of what he weighed then or what he weighs now. Now comes the tough part – keeping it off.

      Though I’ve been a longtime fan of “Man vs. Food” and of Adam’s, as a formerly obese person, I always wondered about how his show affected his health when he was eating so often and in such great quantity. I’m not surprised but, as a fan, I am pleased that he seems to have chosen to live a healthier life. Maybe now his fans will get to have him around a lot longer. And as a gay man, I think Adam has always been easy on the eyes, but in my opinion, he’s finer than ever! Now, I gotta go get me that issue of Cosmo…

      @Alan down in Florida: Exactly. So much focus is on the losing, but all things considered that’s fairly easy. Keeping the weight off long-term is a whole different story. He looks fantastic, by the way. Gorgeous body! (And for what it’s worth, yeah, I think he looked great before he lost the weight too.)
