So in case you haven’t heard, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg was grilled for five-hours yesterday before the Senate Judiciary and Commerce committees. He was there to explain his company’s questionable handling of private user data during the 2016 presidential campaign.
Writer/comedian Zack Bornstein won the day with this viral tweet about the whole thing:
That face when you just wanted a faster way to rank girls by looks and ended up installing a fascist government in the most powerful country on earth pic.twitter.com/VEaQjz9Z6s

But, believe it or not, it wasn’t Zuckerberg’s awkward testimony that has everyone talking. It was the fact that he brought a booster seat with him to the nation’s capital.
People were so fascinated by the fact that a grown man worth $65 billion still uses a booster seat that “Mark Zuckerberg height” began trending on Google. (He’s 5’7, in case you’re curious).
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
And, of course, memers have been having an absolute field day over the whole thing.

This Facebook scandal makes me very happy that I quit way back in 2013. Honestly the time I wasted on Facebook is time I can devote to things I actually want to do. Never going back.

Amen!

I’m pretty sure Zucc is a cylon.

Are you sure its a booster seat and not a wee-wee pad?

He looks like Data from Star Trek
Also, this Facebook questioning is terrible. Most of these senators asking questions are too old to even understand what Facebook is or what they’re even asking. One senator couldn’t even pronounce “algorithm”
Then when someone asks a real question, Zuckerberg talks around the question with the canned response that “Facebook needs to do more” without ever answering the question

And I’m surprised that Men’s Warehouse had anything in 34-short.

I find it sad that the trolls are more concerned with how tall this man is and no one is talking about the “witch hunt” the republicans are getting away with here. They are not taking responsibility for hiring the company that misappropriated information that was used to influence the presidential election. Cruz even used that company for his bid for office. It looks like they are trying to muddy the water to keep attention from their illegal acts.

You’re right. The GOP in general, outside of the GOP US senators on the Senate Intelligence Committee, is not investigating or dealing Cambridge Analytica’s alleged work with Ted Cruz or its links to Russia and Russian oligarchs, the Mercers, Bannon, the Brexit vote, or anything else. Mueller and the FBI are on the case, though.
But you gotta admit, some of these memes, like the one of him in the Crocs, the one of him in the high chair, and the one where he looks like an android are pretty funny, right?

One good thing to come out of this is that another unqualified billionaire, i.e., Mark Zuckerberg, who claimed he wasn’t interested in the US presidency but launched a national tour that looked suspiciously presidential, will be out of the running for the near future.
DCguy
What good is being a billionaire if you never take any advantage of the health, exercise and other expensive things you can use? Zuckerberg doesn’t look like he can afford to keep himself up.
