Well what do you know, another champion of right-wing ‘family values’ turns out to be human just like the rest of us.
Missouri House Speaker John Diehl, whose campaign website boasts his belief in “personal responsibility,” has been not-so-secretly sexting with a 19-year-old college freshman who was part of the Missouri Capitol internship program.
Earlier this year, the state affiliate of the Family Research Council praised Diehl “for demonstrating moral leadership and true integrity in standing up for the sacred institution of marriage and the family values of the people of Missouri.” They added a special thanks for, “fighting to defend biblical marriage” after he filed an amicus brief in defense of the state’s anti-gay marriage amendment.”
Perhaps the ‘biblical marriage’ Diehl has so tirelessly been defending is the kind where men take multiple wives, because the married father of three certainly seems keen on the young lady.
In the texts, Diehl’s contact info goes from “John” to “Frank Underwood (sly half-smile emoji)” to “SOTMHOR,” and acronym for ‘Speaker of the Missouri House of Representatives.”
Here are some examples from the highly flirtatious communications:
Her: “You better take care of me.”
Diehl: “Like how?”
Her: “I’ll bet you’ll figure it out.”
Diehl: “I dunno. You have always been disappointed;)”
Her: “I just have high expectations, I guess. Thus far, you’ve done pretty well (an emoji blows a kiss)”
Diehl: “:). I kinda want to hear what you are expecting”
Then, shortly after, he types: “You will be in good hands :)”
At one point Diehl texts her “God I want you right now,” to which she replies “I wish you could have me right now.”
In another exchange, she sends a picture of herself in a bikini and Diehl responds: “Damn girl …”
Shortly after he writes: “I want to see more” followed by a smiling emoji.
Another exchange centered on Diehl texting that he was “Laying in bed looking at your pic :)”
She responded: “Mmmmm why can’t I be there :)”

Yolked that ass right up with the screen caps KMSL
ANOTHER DIUCHE-BAG LYING REPUBLICAN !!!! WHAT A SURPRISE !!!!
Married cheating is ok for him to do but gay people in love is not acceptable.
Another Fucking Republican hypocrite!
John Boehner was recently caught in a scandal involving a young female intern. I guess we don’t call him John Boner for nothing. He says he believes marriage is between a man and a woman. Well apparently he forgot concubines because they are in the Bible as well! Abraham had more than one wife plus concubines. So did Jacob! God only knows how many Solomon had! David was already married when he wooed Bathsheba! Traditional Biblical marriage my foot! Guys like this, and Newt, and Boehner are freaking hypocrites!
Low Country Boy
@polarisfashion: Of course. I am not surprised.
They’re fucking hypocrites. And the beauty is a lot of Democrats in Congress cheat on their spouses all the time, but you don’t hear any of them making “morals and traditions” their platform, so one cares as much when they get busted. Some Republican spouting anti-gay rhetoric while doing Mandingo Morse Code toe tapping in airport bathrooms? Gingrich having the nerve to try to impeach Clinton for infidelity while simultaneously cheating on his own spouse? Todd in Alabama needs to get off her ass and start exposing these yahoos, otherwise she’s just all talk and no action.
Chris L. Reynolds
I’m sure he was quoting the scriptures to her about “Adulterous activities “and offering her a tutorial, after spending his day awash in bigotry and praising “Cheese-wiz” !
And let’s not forget this one:
Republicans on a roll–the guy coming out on Fox news, then the North Dakota rep on Grindr, now this…
Very Christian of him.
Like I always say, if these creeps would just get psychological help and stop projecting their fears, repression and self-loathing on the rest of us through oppressive legislation, we’d ALL be a lot better off.
@Xzamilio: Yes, they are hypocrites, and therefore their rhetoric is to be ignored. I’m with you on this. I agree wholeheartedly, and I won’t defend Gingrich, but technically Clinton’s impeachment wasn’t for infidelity, it was for lying to congress. Which he did.
They are always the ones…I never trust these Anti-Gay “Who-evers.” They always have skeletons or some sort of disgustingly backround with prostitutes, extramarital affairs or gay themselves. I never trust one who feels way too strongly on Anti-Gay issues. They always have something to hide.
If a person is homophobic it’s usually because they don’t have the guts to come out of the closet so they take it out on gays that are open and happy with themselves.
Well, Missouri is the show me State! LMAO
Ivan Alberto Lugo
Hahaha this are the people that want to keep safe the “sanctity of matrimony” yeah right!!!
@BJ McFrisky: Technically is loaded… he never should have been impeached in the first place, but that’s neither here nor there. He gave Bush a surplus that he manage to completely destroy and the only controversy in his presidential term was getting some Lewinsky under the oval desk.
@Jeff Eiselman: At least he lives up to the State Motto!
HE HAS RESIGNED!
He’s a hypocritical asshole who rightly deserves being called out and shamed, but is it really necessary to call a 19 year old a “teenage college freshman” in a cheap ploy to up the juiciness of the headline? Just call him a “College freshman” or “college student” or better just “another guy”.
Another “Values Voter” unmasked as a low-life hypocrite. Pity, he had a whole pile of stones set to throw at those gay “sinners”.
Christian Jonathan Lemery
Looks like he found himself a raw “deal”!
Jack Anthony Owen
Another POS ..caught!
sorry a** article. In the article, where is his political affiliation or how this news was received in the MO capital and state or details on his marital status given the circumstances of the article.
So I goggled it…..he resigned, married with 3 sons. Another republican who says do as I say, but not as I do…..fuck he looks pretty old for 49!
Is his wife going to stick around ?
Hmmmm Christian Republican I’m sure.
David Andrew Roubideaux
What a hypocrite. Typical right wing Christian.
Ten years and thousands of stories about gay marriage and Queerty still hasn’t gotten the news that a man can legally marry another man in 3/4 of the states. You guys still think that “married” is a synonym for “heterosexual”. You got what you wanted and still act as if you haven’t.
Nailed! or at least that’s what he wanted!!! Maybe he will marry somebody else after his wife kick him out and that will be totally ok. Hypocrite!!
lots of gay sex in college in the war to gay men can get 3 to 7 a day in bed rew with honey manpussy
@BJ McFrisky: And Congress had no case against Clinton. But then again Bush lied to Congress multiple times about a war. And was he impeached? 4,000 dead Americans apparently isn’t as important as what someone did in their personal life. And Gingrich was a major hypocrite.
Republicans are all hypocrites. This is just another case of hypocrisy. What else is new? I just feel bad for this 19 yr old lol… He could so much better than some old ugly Republican.
Why is it the most anti gay always turn out to be super gay. Denile much.
He isn’t gay, the intern is a female.
Gosh. Time really hasn’t been kind to him!
Bigotry: so aging.
Being a lying, conniving, hypocritical sack of shit isn’t good for the skin, hair, body. His, at least.
Well John Diehl, I am really a gay man in drag! Caught ya! :>)
“Traditional Marriage” doesn’t involve sexting teenage interns.
He really knows how to hurt his family… Pussy hound….
If you are an anti-gay bigot or claim you believe in “Traditional Marriage”, it is highly likely that you are…..
1. A self hating closet case
2. Cheating on your spouse,
3. A child molester or some other type of deviant.
Sorry, but normal happy people just don’t care that much, and want to go after happy couples. If you are anti-gay and using the marriage angle, you are most likely one of those three things.
