Matinee Finally Reveals Super-Secret Location Of Its New York Pride Mega-Party

For some reason, Matinée, the international party brand that’s held sold-out bashes around the world, was dragging its feet about revealing the location of its ballyhooed 2012 New York Pride party on June 23—until now: Next Magazine reports the Pride Waterpark Festival will take place June 23 at Governors Beach Club on Governors Island. “While we’re consistent,” he says, “We’re not predictable.” beamed Matinée producer Jake Resnicow.

Well, maybe a little predictable—Matinee held a party on the island in 2010.

But Resnicow isn’t sharing who the guest musical act is, saying only, “She’s blond and one of the biggest contemporary pop stars of our generation.”
