Millions of Glamberts aren’t the only ones excited about pop star Adam Lambert’s upcoming role on the Fox hit Glee, so is series regular Matthew Morrison.
The singer-actor, who’s portrayed teacher Will Schuester since the musical-comedy premiered in 2009, said he was unaware of the former American Idol contestant’s planned appearance until informed by a reporter from Broadway .com.
“Wow,” he exclaimed. “That’s cool news!”
Morrison hopes the two performers will duet, as he did with past guest star Neil Patrick Harris and already has suggestions for songs they could sing.
“Coldplay would be really fun,” he offered. “It’s not much of a rock-out song, but ‘Paradise’ or ‘Viva La Vida.’”
We have a feeling Lambert would prefer something by Queen.
