The ad wars heated up yesterday when John McCain released this commercial attacking Barack Obama‘s education policy.
That policy, says the narrator, amounts to little more than passing “comprehensive sex education” to kindergartners. (Someone think of the children!) What the ad doesn’t say, however, is that Obama’s “sex education” was meant to help teach children about sexual abuse and molestation. The legislation was preventative.
The Obama camp’s rightfully displeased about McCain’s low blow and described his misinformation as “perverse”. Campaign spokesman Bill Burton blasted the Republican’s team:
It is shameful and downright perverse for the McCain campaign to use a bill that was written to protect young children from sexual predators as a recycled and discredited political attack against a father of two young girls – a position that his friend Mitt Romney also holds. Last week, John McCain told Time magazine he couldn’t define what honor was. Now we know why.
The best part of all this – the articles cited in the McCain commercial are also severely critical of his policy.

I’m so tired of both sides bitching. They both lie according to factcheck.org and neither one are going to change anything. What we needed was a candidate who is not left or right but in the middle like the vast majority of Americans. Come on guys come to the middle where the intelligent people live.
faghag
The democrats are gonna lose this because of stupid ppl who voted for obama instead of clinton.
i hope you’re satisfied.
Matt
Hey guys if you want to find out the truth to ads/rumors and also what the candidates say about one another try factcheck.org. I really like it.

Churchill-y must be masturbating in his mother’s attic over this one. Matt, don’t presume your middle is the same as everyone else’s.
This is your Middle, Mutt (from Wikipedia!)
“Blue Dog Democrat” is playfully derived from the original term Yellow Dog Democrat. It was former Texas Democrat Rep. Pete Geren who said that the members had been “choked blue” by those “extreme” Democrats, from the left.[2] Thus, he is credited for coining the term Blue Dog Democrat.
The term is also a reference to the “Blue Dog” paintings of Cajun artist George Rodrigue of Lafayette, Louisiana. The original members of the coalition would regularly meet in the offices of Louisiana representatives Billy Tauzin and Jimmy Hayes, both of whom had Rodrigue’s paintings on their walls (and both of whom later switched to the Republican Party).
Definition of “Yellow Dog Democrat”
In the late 19th century and throughout the 20th century, Yellow Dog Democrats were voters in the U.S. Southern states who consistently voted for Democratic candidates. The term arose from the notion that loyal Southern Democrats would vote for a yellow dog before voting for a Republican. The term is now often used more generally to mean any Democrat who will vote the Party ticket under almost any circumstances.

If Obama picked Hillary as a running mate (which Hillary did NOT want him to), McCain would not have picked Palin. He’s smart enough to know Sara does no Pa-lin comparison to Hillary, and Hillary would have chewed her up. So please stop with the crap about picking the wrong canidate. Democrats can’t win because our party is nothing but complainers and if we don’t get every single thing we want we fall apart instead of standing by our nominee even if that person was not our personal choice.
Brian
I can’t believe Obama is trying to teach kindergartners how to give blow jobs. What a racist communist.
Mr C
No Brian,
