Jim McGreevey‘s marriage to Dina Mato McGreevey came on step closer to being over today. Of the divorce filing, McGreevey had these wise words:
It’s a sad day for everyone. It is something that had to be done. We are blessed with a wonderful daughter who remains our focus.
Sad? Oh please, you guys both go books deals and more fame than you ever imagined. As for “something that had to be done” – that’s the understatement of the century. Now, to the McGreevey’s daughter- we’re very sorry your daddy’s a cocksucker. But, look at it this way: you, too can get a book deal and, if you’re lucky, a drug problem.

NOT SO FAST!!! The missus has released a t statemen that there has been no finalization of the divorce settlement. She has concerns over what her daughter will be exposed to by MCGreevey (maybe a tour of highway rest stops). It’s the custody issue and child rearing issue that’s holding it all up.
