Holiday wishes

Melania Trump tells sick children she wishes she could spend Christmas “on a deserted island”

So Melania Trump visited the the Children’s National hospital in Washington, D.C. this week. While she was there, she took a few questions from the kids.

When asked by a 10-year-old named Andy where she wishes she could spend the holidays, the first lady replied, “I would spend my holidays on a deserted island, tropical island, with my family.”

Evidently, the White House isn’t quite lonely and deserted enough for her.

Some of her other yuletide wishes included “peace on the world, health, love, and kindness”–all things her husband has been actively working against since taking office back in January.

And when asked what her favorite part about Christmas dinner is, the former swimsuit model replied, “Healthy food.”

“Not too much eating,” she said.

After the visit, Melania tweeted about how “grateful” she was for the hospital.

The responses weren’t so grateful…
