One of Donald Trump‘s most loyal henchmen, Roger Stone, was found guilty today of lying to Congress and obstructing an investigation into Russia’s interference in the 2016 presidential election.
After deliberating for eight hours, a jury determined that 67-year-old Stone, who helped popularize the chant “Lock her up!” directed at Hillary Clinton during the campaign, was guilty of one count of witness tampering, one count of obstructing an official proceeding, and five counts of making false statements.
Stone now faces up to 20 years in prison. His sentencing is scheduled for February 6, 2020.
