Michael Lucas is known for creative cinematic masterpieces, so good for him for being business savvy and to take dead weight fashion articles and sell them so that he can bring in a new crop of designs. Anyone who doesn’t see the logic in this clearly doesn’t own their own business. I for one applaud him on that.
As for the comments on his looks – I’d love to see what some of you characters look like. The man is gorgeous for 35. Take a look around you at your 35 year old set and they probably don’t even look half as good as him.

I do not know the reason why Queerty readers are so anti-Semitic: It might be my strong and vocal support for Israel that Queerty criticized on so many occasions. In fact, they did it so often, that their readership does not even realize that the owner and the writer of the site are Jews themselves (not my kind of Jews, but still Jews).

Queerty: I would encourage you to check the origins of the anti-Semitic comments. Mr. Lucas is so virulently anti-Muslim, to the point where he has written atrocious, racist comments that go far beyond even the already atrocious comments here regarding Jews, that I would not be surprised if he or those around him were not injecting the anti-Semitism so he could (as he did) point it out and play the victim. The gay community has plenty of anti-Semites, some outspoken, some a little more closeted, but I think most gay people like or dislike Mr. Lucas based on other factors, such as his demeanor in the press, love/hate of his films, his looks, etc. Sorry, separate anti-Semitic comments from commenters using Muslim names (and even “bin laden abdulla!”) sound totally phony to me.

What’s with all the anti-semitic comments on here? I find it very alarming. I don’t think these types of hateful comments should be allowed. They should be moderated out. A post about an ebay auction selling items from a well-known celebrity isn’t the place for a bunch of vicious religious and political rhetoric, even if it earns the site a few extra hits for a day or two.

I cannot agree with any of the anti-semitic comments made on this website, while I am not Jewish, I abhor discrimination based on religion (this includes you Michael Lucas and your -blatant- anti Islamic agenda) as much as every gay man detests being discriminated against based on their sexuality.
I personally find Mr. Lucas to be a deplorable human being not so much for his choice of career (the beauty of an open market is anyone can do whatever they want to make a buck, and more power to them, though admittedly when they make it on the backs of cheap labor, be that Malaysian children or hot eastern European 18 year olds it becomes slightly less applaudable) more so for his politics.
I do not have to be anti-semitic or for that matter a zionist to realize that unilaterally supporting any single faction in an ongoing blood feud (and lets not mince words here) where both sides have committed atrocities of both the pen and the sword will only lead to further blood and a further embedding of hatred within both cultures. Before I go into a full on treatise on the issues plaguing Israeli Palestinian relations I’ll stop myself, this is queerty after all, and I find it somewhat odd that someone who seemingly has such deeply entrenched hatred in his heart (that would be you Mr. Lucas) for one group, would be surprised to find such hatred returned back upon you (though perhaps admittedly in a different form)
While I do not always agree with the editorial staff at this magazine on a great many matters, both trite and important, I wholeheartedly agree with their verdict that you need to get over yourself. Celebrity has not, should not, and with any luck will continue to not be an acceptable enough reason to spout off personal views on anything other than your chosen profession.
Mr. Lucas if you want to speak about the art of properly lighting a penis as it is inserted into an us so that there is a minimum of camera glare, by all means knock yourself out, but just because you are a millionaire (and kudos for you for getting there) porn star does not mean that you get to shovel your hate filled propaganda down our throats, and expect us to be greatful for it. Celebrity is not an exscuse to mouth vehemence, nor should we accept the words or advice of anyone simply because they are a celebrity, over the advice of any other human being. I do not speak to the fact that we should not listen to celebrities but only recognize that what they are famous for may have no connection with what they are preaching about.

I don’t understand all of this contempt for Michael Lucas. You may not think he is handsome (I do) but he does a lot to be admired. He came to America from another country and is living the American Dream, more so than most of us. He is hard working and built a company from the ground up. Isn’t this something to be admired? He us unashamedly out and isn’t scared to say so. He is political and is an advocate for safe-sex and drug-free living. He has bought ads in magazines like the Advocate, not to sell his videos, but to urge our community to take better care of ourselves by having safe sex.
He is smart, political, creative and involved in the community. As a filmmaker he doesn’t exploit us, he IS us.
Sure, he’s not perfect. But who is. But what is his crime? Selling clothes on eBay?
