Mike Munich Is Ready For You To Turn The Lights Out

Ready to jumpstart your weekend?  Mike Munich is here to help. With his propulsive new single/music video “Lights Out” the out entertainer wants to take you, as the press notes tell us, “on a journey through outer space — one in which we find Mike lost, hallucinating different versions of himself, blurring the lines between reality and fantasy, pleasure and torment.”

Munich, who has been a standout backup dancer for Lady Gaga (he was one of the hotties who carried her in the giant egg on the Grammys red carpet a few years back) and other pop stars, says of his new song:

“I wrote this record during the years in which I was searching for love in the club and drowning my sorrows in vodka. I think the things that we wear every day – both clothing and attitudes – are simply costumes, fictional representations of how we want to be seen. But, it is at night is when we exemplify a common primal instinct; one driven by the passions and emotions that bond us.  It’s so easy to fall victim to the temptation of a moment. We think we’ve met the one yet 2 days later we’re left asking ‘what was his name again?’  I find no shame in this, I think it’s what makes us all alike.  This pattern of distracting myself with boys and booze has been a fundamental part of my journey that I am now sharing through my music.”
