Stop staring at her photo. Poor Peggy Scott is sad and it’s not because her hairstylist has gone awol. The Minnesota state lawmaker, who is currently serving her third term in the House, says her heart is breaking because her state voted to allow marriage equality there are all of those thousands of soon-to-be-wed same-sex couples.
Scott eloquently shared her woeful tale with the Star-Tribune:
“It’s a divisive issue that divides our state,” she said, wiping tears from her eyes as she stood on the House floor after the vote. “It’s not what we needed to be doing at this time. We want to come together for the state of Minnesota, we don’t want to divide it.”
She’s unbeweavable.

The poor girl looks like she is experiencing a horrible Sarah Palin make-over that went terribly, terribly… right! Poor baby, you’ll survive!!! Congratulations to Minnesota on being the 12th state to win Marriage Equality when it happens!

She’s so upset she put her fall on backwards.

Bigots cry when equality happens. John Boehner cries once a week.

It’s a surprise a representative from Minnesota is a hate mongering bitch? This is Bachmann country people

She has a point, but not because she is right. The state of Minnesota should be working on much more important stuff BECAUSE marriage in this country should be a no brainer that should have already passed a decade ago.

Positive spin: 4 of our state Republican representatives broke ranks and voted for the bill (two dems voted against it, but I am focusing on the big positive that Thursday was for my state)

What is going on with the hot mess that is Minnesota politics? It passes marriage equality, yet still votes in Michele “Crazy Eyes” Bachmann as a US representative? I just don’t get it.
