For those of you not in-the-know, Nelson Marin and Marvin Garcia are both models for underwear brand Baskit and boyfriends in real life. They share more than the frame in this Valentine’s Day photo shoot by Rich Mackey Photography. As you’d expect, the couple gets cutesy sharing kisses and butt grabs. They can’t keep their hands off each other, and or their pairs of Baskit underwear.
Marvin is wearing a pair of Just /b/ Briefs, currently 50 percent off at $11. The bubblegum/grey contrast of the underwear looks great under the maroon pants he wears, and even better out of them. The cut forms to Marvin’s legs and backside nice and snug for a casually sporty pair of underwear. Nelson is wearing a red pair of Light Briefs, currently 40 percent off at $13. These briefs have a more masculine appearance. Their body is red, contrasted by a white waistband with the brand name repeating around the elastic in navy lettering.

How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.

Bad photography, in my opinion; Rich Mackey has somehow managed to make them look fat and blotchy!
lauraspencer
They are not “models”. They more likely are waiters, retail clerks, etc. who enjoy modeling on the side. They do not make their living modeling. If they did then 90% of men could model.
tricky ricky
@Stevenw: that’s because they is fat and blotchy blanche, they is fat and blotchy.
Ogre Magi
WTF is wrong with you 3? those two models are beautiful
JB
@Stevenw: We should all be as “fat” and “blotchy” as these two. Our world would be a lot more attractive.
cflekken
They have nice bodies. But I’m sick of the social media trend where anyone who poses in front of a camera calls themselves a “model”. 90% of these “models” have never been published or paid for “modeling”.
lauraspencer
The point I was making is that just because someone has a photo taken doesn’t make them a “model”.
Very few men make a living as models. Yes, there is David Gandy, Tyson Beckford, Marcus Schenkenberg, Mark Vanderloo and a few others.
These guys have nice abs and chests but it takes a lot more to make a living as a model. The guys look way too short and even though their bodies are nice they are too built to be successful models. Not be bitchy, but their faces aren’t model material either.
They are two guys who look good in underwear.

@Stevenw: @lauraspencer: @tricky ricky: @cflekken: Apparently Valentine’s Day has brought out the nasty bitch in some of us today! Feeling jealous?
JaredNorthcutt30
@lauraspencer And what are you doing with your life. Maybe we should dig on social media, so some rando can unleash a giant turd in your face.
Sebizzar
Modeling argument aside -.- It’s always nice to see an interracial couple on here 🙂 Lucky for them this Valentine’s Day.
DarkZephyr
@lauraspencer: who said you had to “make a living off of it” to actually be a model? They are models because they are modeling the damned underwear that they are wearing.
lauraspencer
Not sure why people feel the need to attack someone who posts a comment. My posting was directed at the story and not at the people posting about the story.
@darkzephyr….then I guess I can put on my linkedin profile that I’m a model because I modeled for my college campus brochure.
@Jarednorthcutt30…. I’m doing a lot with my life actually and I’m quite happy. I’m sad that you are not and felt the need to attack me. I hope it made you feel better.
Happy Valentine’s Day!

@jwtraveler: Ha! Tell it like it is! I see two attractive men, and what they’re doing here is modeling……for us! And I’m guessing they got paid by the underwear company, so…that makes them models.
spiffy
I’m really tired of seeing the makers’ brands and logos on the waistbands. Isn’t overcharging for a small piece of fabric enough of a punishment? If you want me to display your logos, instead of me buying your underwear you should be paying me to wear them.
jwtraveler
@spiffy: No one’s forcing you to buy them. Hanes and Fruit of the Loom have their names on the waistbands, but they’re 3 for $10 and they do the job just as well.
JaredNorthcutt30
It did actually. Tit for tat, I say.
Captain Obvious
I think they’re cute and it’s nice to see some pictures of a couple who are not “boyfriend twins”.
spiffy
@jwtraveler: I don’t like the multi-packs either. Just because Hanes or Fruit Of The Loom are cheaper doesn’t mean the logo-on-the-waistband is OK. I don’t want to be that guy; but many gay men judge each other by the clothes they choose, and that includes underwear. Am I a different class of gay because I wear Hanes/FoftL instead of Aussie Bum/Andrew Christian, for example? Underwear shouldn’t be a status symbol.
I realize these are my own issues; I just hate to think if I want to stick to my principles, my only options are American Apparels (which I believe has plain waistbands) or go commando.

@Stevenw: You are blind…and a bit of a douche.
jwtraveler
@spiffy: My position on underwear is this: If any guy is turned off when he gets to the point of seeing my underwear, he wasn’t the right guy anyway.
I like your last option, though.
spiffy
@jwtraveler: To be honest, that’s my preferred option too, most of the time.

Those two are what you call butter faces
