Oh, you mean the band with the lyrics, “that little faggot with the earring and the makeup” on the song, “Money for Nothing”. Mark Knopfler was attempting to write a song in the character of a blue-collar guy. Unfortunately, a lot of people didn’t get it and just enjoyed using the word as they sang along to the radio.
