When a reader suggested we post Canadian indie-trio Immaculate Machine, we scoffed. Indie rock’s let us down in recent years, so we weren’t entirely convinced we’d vibe with their suggestion. But, never ones to back down from a new experience, we headed on over to YouTube, typed in “Immaculate Machine”, gave them a twirl and promptly fell in love. The group’s sound’s solid, their lyrics are honest and unpretentious and they exhibit a natural, well-honed talent – a rarity in today’s music scene. So, it’s our pleasure to feature Immaculate Machine’s “Broken Ship” from 2005’s Ones and Zeros. We’ve also included that album’s other single, “So Cynical”. After the jump, of course…
Remember, readers: we love to hear from you, so please keep sending us your suggestions!
