Unfortunately, I am not homosexual. In technical fact, I am humasexual. I am attracted to humans. But, of course … not many.”
— Perennially sexually ambiguous songsmith Morrissey addressing speculation regarding the manlove of his life in his new autobiography, via the Morrissey zine (do zines still exist?) True To You.

Could this guy get any more boring?

@Cam: Unfortunately, pining for the 1980’s is a thing at the minute, as someone who was only alive for less than half of the decade I don’t see it.
I grew out of The Smith’s quite a few years ago now.

Another letter to add to our collection – LGBT-H. You know we have to include everyone and I don’t want the B/T and B/T lovers yelling at me again.
Now this self important self hating has been douche gets his own letter. You happy now?

Morrissey has had some girlfriends and some boyfriends and some prolonged periods of celibacy and abstinence. He is a kind of bisexual human person.
A kind of bisexual human person that doesn’t like the bisexual label, or the pansexual label, or the ambisexual label, or the fluid sexual label, or the no label label etc etc etc.
I think he should get married. But not to me – at least not monogamously.
Pistolo
He’s just a bored contrarian.
Some people always have to be the exception, they have to be special. “I’m not like all you mere mortal, I am sooo sexually complicated and mysterious”. Hummasexual? Oh please, so pretentious.
He’s probably an asexual person with some minor sexual desires and romantic idealizations or fantasies.

Girl shut up!

What do labels matter? They matter when I’m trying to figure out if a guy is gay or hetero.

Coincidentally, not many humans are attracted to him either.

@Pistolo: Thank you, I was searching for a way to phrase what I meant without using the word “pretentious”, but I think this echoes my opinion perfectly.
