The Chelsea-based, edgy menswear clothing company Nasty Pig is auctioning off one-of-a-kind T-shirts designed by celebrities in its Shred of Hope campaign from today through June 27.
One hundred percent of the proceeds of these “Shedder” tees will go benefit New York City’s Ali Forney Center for homeless and runaway LGBT youth.
“LGBT youth need us now more than ever,” said Jake Shears who designed his shirt to be jock-styled, sleeveless top with a muscly ‘nasty pig’ on it. “The more visibility we have in the world, the more LGBT youth are going to come out and be in possible vulnerable situations. As adults, we must not forget those that are coming after us; we must take care of our own.”
Bid now to own an original (and in some cases, once in lifetime) design from the likes of Alan Cumming, Adam Lambert, Dustin Lance Black (pictured), Andy Cohen, R.E.M frontman Michael Stipe, Dan Savage and Terry Miller, Mike Ruiz, and several others.
How about we take this to the next level?

I was positive this was an article about Dustin Lance Black designing for nasty pig, which was surprising. Am I the only one who sees the striking resemblence between DLB and the model above?
