National anti-LGBT hate groups have stepped into the fight against a gay-straight alliance started by two gay teens who wanted to combat homophobia in their bible-belt school district in Winchester, Tennessee.
The Franklin County School Board is set to discuss their student organization policies tonight, and they’re exploring banning them altogether in an attempt to get rid of the GSA. Two hate groups are jumping on board to pressure the district.
As The New Civil Rights Movement reported, MassResistance said they’d been contacted by local parents and will send a representative to the meeting. They then contacted Liberty Counsel, who will provide legal information and assistance to local officials opposed to the GSA. Both groups are identified by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) as anti-LGBT hate groups.

However, one local citizen journalist is disputing the MassResistance version of events, and said they contacted locals in order to get involved in the fight against the GSA.
Once again, we’d like to point out the utter hypocrisy in so-called “small government” conservatives who send national organizations to meddle in local matters, but we digress.

In the late 90’s/2000’s us bi folk only had goth/punk etc as far as places we were welcome and accepted and when westboro showed up at a manson concert in 1997, we threw rocks at them beat them up and smashed out their windows and screamed “your god is dead” and that was how we managed shit. The one gay event that I ironically rousted up the GSA crew and gay kids via Bullying was Matthew Shepard and I was pissed off. They stood around while us goth bi folks basically said, fuck with us and you will be in a ditch etc and don’t ever think violence towards us will be taken lightly. Held a vigil and all. The year after I beat up two smelly breeders who thought I was an easy target… they were out of shape and I was a known bully to those who said shit in school. Ran a dozen people out, drove a couple to suicide attempts… they are cowards… stop flag waving and threaten, bully, scare, drive them to suicide etc. That will send a message.
