Neon Hitch Spice Girls Wannabe Pollo Del Mar Drag Queen Music Video Cover

What do you get when you combine the amazing vocals of Neon Hitch with San Francisco drag queen Pollo Del Mar and a fierce new music video cover of the Spice Girls’ ‘Wannabe’? Pure revamped 90s nostalgic awesomeness!

“Sometimes I really feel like I lead a charmed life,” Pollo Del Mar told us. “Two years ago, I was performing ‘F U Betta’ at my show; now I’m in a music video with her? That’s just crazy!”

Neon Hitch, who rose to fame with her hit dance club track ‘F U Betta,’ has just released a new cover of the classic Spice Girls song ‘Wannabe,’ which was the group’s debut hit song, released in 1996.

“Originally, Neon asked me to be in her ‘Yard Sale’ video, but we couldn’t make our schedules match up,” revealed Pollo. “I was really devastated, but made her promise to cast me in the future. When she told me her next song was a Spice Girls cover, I was super stoked! I remember dancing to ‘Wannabe’ in the clubs when I was first coming out. Now I’m in this amazing cover video. It’s hard to believe!”

Pollo also talked about what it was like to work with Neon Hitch, revealing, “Neon is super colorful and creative, this really zany person, which I can totally relate to. When one of my friends watched the ‘Wannabe’ video, he said, ‘She’s like a real girl version of Pollo!’ That’s actually kind of true. And she likes black men too, so it’s like a match made in heaven! Hahaha!”
