John McCain won’t tolerate attacks on his opponents. The presidential candidate released a memo this morning again reminding Republicans to stay on track: “Overheated rhetoric and personal attacks on our opponents distract from the big differences between John McCain’s vision for the future of our nation and the Democrats, This campaign is about John McCain: his vision, leadership, experience, courage, service to his country and ability to lead as commander in chief from day one.” [Politico]

McCain plays his trump! Now all of you assholes who’ve been bickering about Obama/Clintin can feel the pangs of being first class loosers, as th republicans can effortless ly behave sanely and let you look like dorks.

So McCain’s ‘trump’ is to ‘effortlessly behave sanely’… Good to know – I guess behaving sanely trumps actually being sane. Or has the Hillary-Obama feud (which from Obama’s side seems to be coming more from his devotees than from him) been so intense that it wipes away any memories of a man in a flack jacket surrounded by troopers (with snipers on the roofs when we got to see the full pictures!) walking through Baghdad telling us it was perfectly safe? People do tend to look like dorks when they’re concerned about seriously fucked-up situations, and they sometimes forget to ‘behave sanely’. Of course, if you have no connection to the reality of the situation, sane behavior might be “effortless”. I really don’t get you gay repubs.

McCain wants someone to notice him.

I somehow suspect that McCain has to remind himself every morning to “behave sanely”.
