Nobody Has a Damn Clue Whether New Jersey Will Say Yes to Marriage

newjerseymapnew

We’re about to see just how effective the National Organization for Marriage’s $600,000 “voter outreach” campaign in New Jersey is when the State Senate makes its expected gay marriage vote on Thursday. Yes, that’s the same gay marriage vote that lawmakers there are “not sure” has a chance of passing.

Words like “chance,” “too close to call,” and “facing pressure” are being bandied about by legislators and Jersey activists when quizzed on what they think the bill’s outcome will be.

As the Empire State Pride Agenda takes quick action to begin endorsing candidates that challenge New York’s lawmakers who voted against gay marriage there, Garden State Equality should be readying similar releases to go after Jersey’s soon-to-be-declared bigots.
