Even as recently this Tuesday, Republican Presidential Candidate Michelle Bachmann continues to prop her quickly deflating campaign on the empty promise that, if re-elected, she would reinstate “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.” Not only would the military probably consider that a counter-productive bit of political theatre, but even the constituents in her own party oppose the move.
According to a new CBS poll, 48 percent of all Republicans support the ability for gay and lesbians to serve openly in the military and only 41 percent oppose it. Stick with the federal marriage amendment to ban marriage equality, Bachmann… at least 48 percent of all Americans still support that.
Little Kiwi
remind me again how the party that always puts the country into debt and wastes times and an INSANE amount of funds on anti-Equality measures can call themselves “fiscally conservative?”

This insane bitch needs to be committed along with the rest of these vile excuses for INhuman beings.

Michele “Crazy Eyes” Bachmann is so fucking nuts. Seriously, she needs to be locked up and forced to watch gay male porn for a month.

Little Kiwi,
I think the proper term is not fiscally conservative but fiscally insane.

@christopher di spirito:

If you don’t know anything and you have nothing to offer you can always try to sell hate and bigotry.

@Cam:
The perfect slogan fore each of the candidates vying for vice presidency and presidency in 2012! 🙂

I firmly believe that this country has actually reached the point that all prospective candidates for public office should be required to pass a timed test of general knowledge about the Constitution, constitutional law, statutory interpretation, separation-of-powers, basic economics, and general civics. All candidate’s test scores should be made public, pass or fail.
Otherwise, we’re actually going to elect one of these numbskulls one day.

The woman always looks as if her face hurts, but then when you are so filled with impotent rage and hate, I guess that is to be expected. It is a pity that Bachmann and her ilk cannot turn back the clock to the 1950s, or even 1682. It must be dreadful to be so unable to change with the times and to be so ignorant that you cannot understand how life has changed. Basing things on a strick interpretation of the Bible would mean that Bachmann and all the other female GOP candidates could not run at all but would be religated to staying at home with their head veiled, their mouths shut and complying with the men in their families. Why do they never consider THAT when stirring up hate?

@Michael: Marcus Bachmann looks like a silver circuit queen.

Let her be, let her be the shining example of conservatism!
After 3 years in the military, I wouldn’t recommend this job to anymore unless you are lazy, bored or love regimentation. I actually loved the army, I came out to my commander, and my men were nonchalant to the fact. It took 5 men to do a single job, which explains our size, we can never break even.
However every mam ought to try it out, it is fun, unless you are in a specialist or officer course.
In an environment which is mostly male, unless you are non-operational, ie admin, manpower, clerical, legal…, chances are guys are everywhere, that includes senior officers!

@Cam: Well said. I half hope she and they keep it up, since they’re selling self love at the expense of others and calling it moral, ethical and holy. She should keep us abreast of what’s on her “mind” more often.
