Yep, he’s guilty. And now he’s going to the slammer. Closeted New York State Senator Carl Kruger was sentenced yesterday. And he’s set to serve seven years due to this vast bribery scheme. He was given quite a lenient sentence, all things considered, and the judge cited his “many good deeds” as the reason.
And his “boyfriend,” Michael Turano, who seems to be part of the reason for all the chicanery? He also got sentenced and will be serving two years in prison.
No word as to where or if they will be “cohabitating.”
Kruger gave a brief statement before he was sentenced. “My actions will forever overshadow whatever legacy I managed to achieve,” he said, adding, “I have no one but myself to blame, and that reality will haunt me for the rest of my life.”
