On the same day that bigots failed to overturn California’s LGBT-inclusive public school curriculum law, openly gay Queens City Council Member Daniel Dromm announced a resolution asking the Department of Education to implement a curriculum and acquire textbooks so that city schools can turn all their students into Chaz Bono teach key moments and figures in LGBT history.
Will the classes cover the Cooper Donut Riot or the Dewey’s Lunch Counter Sit In? Maybe Queerty will become a classroom resource—that’d be a hoot.

I can just see it now oh noezz they gon indoctrinate our childrens lord have mercy won’t someone think of the children?! lol
I think this is a wonderful step for compassion education understanding and tolerance kids today for the most part have no respect for their elders.Maybe they can be taught to be civilized human beings who can think for themselves instead of letting their parents or loved ones brainwash them with their so called MORAL values or beliefs persay.
