My partner and I have been together for 5 years. He has 3 kids, 20, 23 & 24. He is a 50 y.o. Firefighter. I am a 32 y.o. Professional in hospitality. This family is amazing and has been welcoming since moment one. We all go to the gym together, we all have motorcycles and go on family rides. I play softball in gay & straight leagues and they all come out to support me, bringing their boyfriends and girlfriends out as well. The youngest, his son, is an EMT and is in school to be a firefighter. His middle daughter is a sponsored athlete and personal trainer, full time student with goals of being a kinesiology major. His oldest daughter is a full time student at Chico States Social worker program and works for the sheriffs office. She is happily married to a US firefighter. My partner paid for everything these kids have without any help, allowing them to be the wonderful people they are today. The unconditional love he has shown his kids, and raising these amazing people to be leaders in their communities is a feat that most could not accomplish. I feel loved everyday! This is my family and I feel lucky to have landed in such a supportive group of people. My partner is amazing, his kids are amazing and I'm amazed everyday how we keep growing closer. Cheers to the New Normal!
