Chris Evans shakes off the stench of those execrable Fantastic Four films in this entertaining adaptation of the iconic superhero’s WWII origin—a lead-in to 2012’s dream-team blockbuster, The Avengers. The Blu-ray edition includes deleted scenes, featurettes (perhaps one showcasing how he buffed up so massively?) and a fun short film featuring S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg).

A documentary about five LGBT individuals who came (out) late to the party, bounding free from the closet after age 55, is moving, inspiring, and poignant. Better late than never, right?
